Thanks for the post.The test engine works with the "exam engine" not with the "Interactive Test Engine".No worries, it is GR8 to have ver 3.12.

Hay guys...don't much worry about v3.12. I've done the exam today with 3.10 & CBT & achieved 926. Be sure to find correct answers for 3.10 slimlets & other wrong questions. Also refer 2.87 for whole questions.

Hi Guys, Sorry for not attending for your 642-812 related questions. Yes there were around 10 questions out side the P4S 3.10. Also a verry strange sumulation (STP). But you can manage with those if you are in touch with the subject. Hope for the luck
Please I need P4S V 3.12.. I took the exam on 21 of march but I didn't pass,, the configuration that I had is new for me,, it took more than 30 min to think about it.. after that I couldn't answer the rest of questions.. I'm gonna retake it next week,, please help me to find the new version :(

I found only this on one forum regarding STP configuration:

Has anyone noticed in the screen shots , we have ospf questions !! i think 2-3 of them ..Those are from bsci..I wonder what they are doing in the BCMSN dump? Did any exam takers find routing questions also ????
I passed exam recently and there were no routing questions. Most of the questions are from pass4sure but there are also some new one or just some changes in the existing. Good luck.

It's been almost a week now, and honestly I'm starting to forget....but simulations went as follows:
1: HSRP --exactly the same as P4Sv3.10 but not trust answer on P4S are they are WRONG
2: VTP Configuration --almost the same as P4S v3.10 but make sure you use the cmd vtp database to create the vlan...p4s does not tell you that of course
3: Spanning-Tree --exactly the same as P4S v3.10 but make but p4s make a mistake on one of the question
4: Spanning-Tree --The killer, you have to change priority on a switch in order to make it the rooot bridge for a certain vlan and also change the priority of its port to make them transition from blocking to forwarding
As far as the other questions....man ! I forgot and I'm glad I did...
But overall, the exam is tuff but passable without the new p4s....I've personally used a combination of p4s which I don't always trust but is has similar to the Cisco exam as you can get and how2pass which 99.999% accurate but not so similar to the cisco exam

642-812 BCMSN
The VLAN Database mode has been deprecated and will be removed in some future Cisco IOS release. Recommended practice dictates using only the VLAN configuration mode.This is in response to "2: VTP Configuration --almost the same as P4S v3.10 but make sure you use the cmd vtp database to create the vlan...p4s does not tell you that of course".So not use VLAN database mode while configuring VTP.

Passed BCMSN 642-812 today with 950..Most of the questions were from Pass4sure 3.12.Try Cisco Student Guide Vol 1 and Vol 2.Its a bit exhaustive but deals with every aspect of BCMSN.good luck to all

only some 2 to three questions where not from the dumps,
but one important thing is that prepare it very well, there will be more options in the exam compared to pass4sure, so u should be very sure abt the answer.

i passed the ont 642-845 yesterday. The exam contain 7-8 questions which are out of p4s v3.12 and moreover there was a simulation type question which is also not from p4s so better wait for the latest version

Looks like ONT p4s new vertion has been released with Questions and Answers : 349 Q&As
p4s 3.12 has 346 quations and answers. Looks like new simulation has been added in the new release.

2)Simulation q212-215,q219-222 and New simulation has been added(not able to recognize).

4)Around 5-6 quations are out of p4s:2.95 and p4s 3.12

hi... guys.. i just passed ONT exam. i got four simlet. 3 is from p4s.. one
is new one.
Detail for new one... 5 ques. just need to run sh run, sh policy-map int
s0/0 , sh class-map, sh policy-map commands.
1) least BW to which protocol? - ftp... there are 3policy-map statement.
ftp is only one in one class which got 10. others have 40 n 20, one has 3
protocol and other has 2protocol respec...
2) "class-default" has which queueing technique? -> there is 0% BW for that
class. so i ans CBWFQ bcoz other has BWs.
3,4) if CIR is increased then what action takes for fas 0/0 and s0/0? - i
dont remembered the full command but which got action as if rate is less
then BW, if rate is between min n max rate and if violation is occur... i
will post that command later on..
There are 2 more new questions I can remember are
1 WLAN controller user interface -- HTTP, HTTPS and CLI
2 How to remove WLAN controller config -- clear config then reset system
(just make sure, i dont know exactly)

Is ONT P4S v3.12 346q still valid?
I don't think the ONT P4S v3.12 is still valid since the latest version is been released. It came with 374 Questions.
To day i'm passed BCMSN Score 950.
Lab

2) vtp-transparent
Sim
1) HSRP P4S 3.10 I think some item it wrong.
2) Spanning-tree
no drag and drop
new item 3-4 but I don't remember it

hi i passed my bcmsn last week with 975 i studied the p4s 3.12 and i m sorry to say that the simulation is not from inside of it that is not the aaa but i will share you the 3.12 if you want what can i say that the simulation is spanning tree with 3 router one core and 2 distribution and you have to change the priority on only one router to make the other primary so study the spanning tree well
